Christmas Message 2008

I was asked by a journalist what my Christmas message this year was going to be. I replied, “that our Messiah came 2000 years ago. He said and did all that was needed for our salvation, so there is no need for us to wait for another.”

Our people have been waiting for too long for peace to become incarnate, and for justice to roll down like a river – waiting for this president to come, and for that prime minister to be elected. Our experience so far has been that they all come and go, yet our situation does not improve.

But, thanks be to God, our true Savior. Because He came to us in our “little town” 2000 years ago, we are determined to continue His mission of sowing hope, growing leaders, and harvesting joy.

Thank you for supporting our mission. Because of you we are able to reach new heights.
